# Reset your password

> How to reset an EmailPal login password from the forgot-password page. Recovery mail is sent on a separate transactional path from customer sending IPs.

## Reset

1. Open [forgot password](/forgot-password).
2. Submit the email on the account.
3. Use the link we send. That landing page is `/reset-password` and requires the session the link created.

Transactional mail (resets, verification) does **not** share the pooled sending IPs your campaigns use. A deliverability incident must not block the email you need to sign in and fix it.

## FAQs

### I never got the mail.

Check spam, and that you used the login email. Google/Microsoft social logins do not have a password to reset — sign in with that provider.

### Can an API key reset a user password?

No. Keys automate the product. They are not your login.
