Domains and mailboxes
How EmailPal domains and mailboxes work together: register from $10, bring your own for free, bulk-provision senders, and get SMTP/IMAP in the same step as DNS. This is the hub for buying, authenticating and sending from infrastructure you control.
What you are buying
EmailPal is infrastructure: domains that can send mail, and mailboxes on those domains. We authenticate the domain, host the mailbox, warm it if you want, and give you credentials. On top of that, EmailPal has its own sequencer (Engage), a shared inbox (Unibox) and a CRM, so the mailboxes can run campaigns without another tool.
The sending identity and the sequencer are separate things, and you can mix them. Run campaigns in Engage, Create a campaign. Or use a tool such as Instantly or Smartlead as the sequencer: export SMTP/IMAP from here and paste them there.
A mailbox without a domain is not a product we sell. A domain without mailboxes is just a name. Setup always ends with both, plus MX/SPF/DKIM/DMARC that the public internet can see.

Plan slots cap how many domains you can have attached:

Extra mailboxes add matching slots rather than a second domain fee, at $1/mo each, with no limit on how many you can add. Details: Pricing, plans and mailbox overages.
Pre-warmed leases do not eat a plan domain slot or a plan mailbox. They are a separate line at $3/mo.
Pick names that look like a company. Strings with "mail", "outreach" or "blast" in them are how filters decide you are a bulk sender before you write a word. Buy cold email domains and Register a domain.
What we write on every domain
On domains EmailPal registered, and on BYO domains once you delegate nameservers (or paste what we show):
- SPF with a hard fail (

Records are written, then re-verified against public resolvers (8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1), not only against our own view of DNS. A green check means the internet sees them.

Pre-warmed inventory already has these records. Do not edit them.
Mailboxes
Pick a naming pattern (first, first.last, firstlast, flast) and a count per domain. Provisioning returns SMTP and IMAP credentials in the same job. Extra mailboxes beyond the plan are $1/mo each.
How many per domain is a reputation choice, not a hard product cap on domains you register or connect. 5 mailboxes per domain (the mailbox form warns past about 10) is the recommendation, and it still looks like a small company. Spreading senders across more domains is usually healthier than stacking many mailboxes on one. How many mailboxes per domain?.
Pre-warmed inventory is sold as a fixed bundle per listed domain. You cannot add handles afterward.
Cold sending is recommended at 15/day per inbox with warming on (about 20 warming messages a day run alongside, counted separately), with a hard cap of 100/day. Plan on 5 inboxes per domain. Pre-warmed leases start at 15/day from day one. Sending limits per mailbox.
How to set up
- Sign in. Complete billing if you have not. Onboarding will not mint unpaid infrastructure. How onboarding works.
- Domains → register, claim aged inventory, or bring your own.
- Wait until DNS shows verified on public resolvers.
- Mailboxes → create senders, or Pre-warmed → claim ready ones.
- Turn on warming unless you claimed pre-warmed (already on, included).
- Verify the list before the first campaign mail.
- Pick the mailboxes in an Engage campaign. Or export SMTP/IMAP into Instantly, Smartlead, Plusvibe or a script, or send through our API.

Move a domain to another workspace
A domain you registered or connected can move to another workspace on the same plan, for example when a client gets its own workspace. Open the domain and choose Move to workspace. You need to be an owner or admin of both workspaces.
What moves: the domain, its mailboxes, their Unibox threads and stored messages, scheduled replies, its tracking domain, and suppressions (copied, so both workspaces keep them). Sending IPs, DNS, passwords and warm-up do not change, so the domain's sending reputation goes with it.
What stays: campaigns and their send history, contacts, and invoices. A reply in a moved thread gets a contact in the new workspace. The domain's past sending still counts in the old workspace's risk history, not the new one's.
The dialog lists everything that stops a move before you confirm:
- The domain is being released, is already moving, or is still being bought.
- It is pre-warmed inventory or has a leased mailbox. Those are leases, not yours to move.
- It is in a dedicated IP lane. Take it out of the lane first.
- It is resting or restarting after a provider refused it, or it is inside an account throttle.
- Either workspace is suspended or throttled, or the new one is past due or not allowed new mailboxes.
- A mailbox is in a campaign, or has scheduled replies waiting. Tick Take its mailboxes out of campaigns to remove them from those campaigns and cancel the replies as part of the move.
The domain shows as Moving while it runs, usually a few minutes, and sending, warm-up and Unibox keep working. Over the API it is POST /api/public/v1/domains/{id} with action: "move_workspace" and target_workspace_id, using a plan-wide key. Both workspaces get a domain.moved webhook when it finishes. FAQs
Do registered domains renew automatically?
Yes. A domain we registered for you renews automatically each year from your prepaid domain balance, at the then-current renewal price plus the same platform fee. That is roughly the registration price you saw at checkout. We email you before the charge. If your balance is short, we may renew the domain on your behalf so you do not lose it, and that amount stays owed from your balance. See Register a domain.
Can I use EmailPal mailboxes with Instantly, Smartlead or another sender?
Yes. Export SMTP/IMAP and connect them as sending accounts. You do not need to: EmailPal's own sequencer, Engage, can run the campaigns. Export mailbox credentials, Create a campaign.
Is there a mailbox onboarding wait after DNS verifies?
Provisioning is a job measured in minutes. Warming, if you need it, is measured in days. Pre-warmed skips the days.
Should I send from my company .com?
Usually no. Keep the company site on its own domain and send cold email from a secondary sending domain. A burned primary is expensive.
Can I add Google Workspace on the same domain EmailPal sends from?
You can, and you will probably break SPF (10-lookup limit) or confuse DMARC. Prefer one sending stack per domain.
What if DNS stays red?
DNS verification failed. BYO domains fail most often because nameservers were not pointed yet, or a second SPF TXT was left behind.
