CRM and Unibox

Unibox, the shared inbox for replies

How to use EmailPal's Unibox. Views, filters, reading and replying, reminders, scheduled replies, reply templates, labelling leads and keyboard shortcuts.

What Unibox is

Unibox is one inbox for every mailbox you host with EmailPal. Replies to your campaigns land here, so you can read them, answer them and label the lead without logging in to each mailbox. Find it in the sidebar under Outreach, next to Engage and CRM.

It is on for every account on every plan. The older Inbox page only shows when outreach is switched off for your account, and it redirects to Unibox when outreach is on. The unified inbox

Views

Two tabs sit at the top: Primary and Others. More views are under the More chip, and Unread is its own chip.

ViewWhat it shows
PrimaryConversations that have a message from the other person, that are not done and that are not in Others.
OthersConversations with no matching lead and no campaign.
Unread onlyConversations you have not read.
Reminders onlyConversations with a reminder set.
Scheduled emailsReplies you scheduled to send later.
SentConversations with mail you sent.
DoneConversations you marked done.

Use the Status, Campaign and Mailbox chips to narrow the list, and Search conversations to search. The chips show counts.

Read and act

Open a conversation to see the thread. Buttons above it let you:

  • Done the conversation. It leaves Primary and goes to Done. Reopen brings it back.
  • Mark read or Mark unread.
  • Star it.
  • Remind me. Pick Tomorrow morning or Next Monday, both at 9:00, or Clear reminder.
  • Set status. This labels the lead. Lead statuses

The side panel shows the lead's Email, Company, the Campaign and Your mailbox.

Reply and forward

Reply or forward from the conversation. The side panel shows which of your mailboxes the conversation is on.

  • Send later is the arrow next to the send button. Choose Tomorrow morning, Monday morning, or Pick date and time. Scheduled replies appear above the thread, where you can Cancel them, and under Scheduled emails.
  • Reply templates are saved replies you can drop into any conversation from the composer. A template can have a short name that shows as its shortcut. Templates can use {{first_name}}, {{name}} and {{company}}. Use Manage templates… to edit them.

Replies you send from Unibox count toward the mailbox's daily cap, in the same rolling 24 hours as campaign emails. Campaign sending limits and mailbox rotation

A reply stops that lead's sequence when Stop when a lead replies is on. An automatic reply stops it only if Stop on automatic replies too is on. Lead states and stop rules
