Payment methods
EmailPal bills through Stripe. Use a major credit or debit card. Plans, mailbox overages, warming and pre-warmed leases charge the same saved method.
What we accept
Stripe's supported cards for your country — typically Visa, Mastercard, American Express. The checkout page is the source of truth; we do not take wire as a self-serve option.
What gets charged

Failed payments
If the card fails, update it in Billing. Hosted mailboxes and leases stay tied to an active subscription. How to change billing details.
What happens, in order:
- Right away: we email the account owners and admins, and a notice appears in the app. Leased pre-warmed inboxes pause sending immediately. Warming keeps running on them, so they stay warm. The mailbox shows "Paused: payment overdue" with a link to Billing, and there is no Resume button: sending comes back by itself once the invoice is paid.
- About day 1, 3 and 5: we retry the unpaid invoice on your saved card. You do not need to do anything for this, and a declined retry does not send another email.
- While a payment is overdue: you cannot add domains, mailboxes, warming, pre-warmed inboxes or a plan upgrade. You can still reduce what you pay for. Adding capacity opens again as soon as the invoice is paid.
- Day 7: unchanged. If the invoice is still unpaid, sending stops on your own mailboxes and leased inboxes go back to the pool. Nothing else is deleted, and your own mailboxes come back when the balance is settled.
You do not have to wait for a retry. The "Payment failed" banner on Billing has two buttons: Pay now opens the invoice so you can enter a different card, and Retry card on file charges the saved card right away (a few attempts an hour). Paying the open invoice, from either button or from the link in the email, lifts all of this within a few minutes.

Can I pay yearly?
Follow whatever the checkout offers for the plan. Add-ons (warming, pre-warmed) are monthly.
Do you take PayPal?
Not as a self-serve method. Card via Stripe.
