EmailPal vs lemlist

A multichannel outbound platform with a 650M-lead database, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and AI agents, against an email-only sequencer sold together with the mailboxes, warming and CRM it sends from.

  • Sequencer + CRM on every plan
  • Published pricing
  • Open tracking off by design
  • No card to start

TL;DR

lemlist is the broader product. Its pricing page lists an Email plan at $69/mo (monthly billing) with 50,000 emails, unlimited users and senders, a 650M+ lead database, email and phone finders, AI agents, warm-up and CRM integrations, and a Multichannel plan at $109 per user per month that adds LinkedIn, SMS, a call dialer and unlimited messages. It lists no built-in CRM, relying on integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive instead. EmailPal is email-only but sells the whole sending stack: 50 SMTP mailboxes, measured warming, verification, pre-warmed inboxes, a sequencer and a CRM from $69/mo, with open tracking off by design. Its sequencer went live on 5 October 2026. Choose lemlist for multichannel, lead data, AI and integrations; choose EmailPal if cold email is the channel and you want the infrastructure and pipeline under one bill.

lemlist’s positioning page calls it the all-in-one platform for outbound: find prospects in a 650M+ lead database, run sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp and SMS, protect deliverability, and use AI agents to research and write. Its pricing page (checked 5 October 2026) shows two self-serve plans and add-ons. Email is $69 a month on monthly billing ($55 on yearly) for 50,000 emails with unlimited users and senders; Multichannel is $109 per user ($87 yearly) with unlimited emails and messages, LinkedIn and SMS automation, and a built-in dialer. It says more than 20,000 sales teams run outbound in it.

That is a much bigger surface than EmailPal’s. The comparison that matters is narrower: for a team doing only cold email, what does each plan include? Both start at $69 a month, but the $69 buys different things. lemlist’s lists unlimited senders and a volume of sends; EmailPal’s includes 50 SMTP mailboxes, warming on measured placement, verification, a sequencer, a unified inbox and a CRM.

01

What the entry price covers

lemlist’s Email plan lists unlimited users and senders, 50,000 emails per month, a 650M+ lead database, an email and phone finder, AI agents, an email warm-up and deliverability hub, and CRM integrations and an API. Lead data runs on credits: its data add-on is $20 a month on monthly billing for 2,000 credits (400 emails or 100 phone numbers), and buying-intent signals are another add-on at $29. The comparison table also lists in-app purchase of domains and email accounts, but we did not find a mailbox price on the pricing page.

EmailPal’s Starter includes 50 mailboxes, extra ones are $1, warming is $0.60 per inbox and graduates on measured placement, and pre-warmed inboxes are $3 a month. There is no lead data to buy because there is no lead database: you import leads by CSV or paste.

Same headline price, different scope

lemlist lists $69 a month on monthly billing for its Email plan and EmailPal charges $69 a month for Starter. The plans are not like-for-like: lemlist includes a lead database and AI agents; EmailPal includes 50 mailboxes, measured warming and a CRM.

02

Multichannel, data and AI: where lemlist is far ahead

Its Multichannel plan adds LinkedIn visits, follows, invites and messages (including voice and InMail), in-app calling with a power dialer, SMS and a WhatsApp add-on. The data side lists lead scoring, LinkedIn enrichment, account-based prospecting and an email and phone finder. The AI side lists lemAgent, signal and enrichment agents, reply intent detection, out-of-office detection, AI-generated replies and AI call summaries. EmailPal has none of these: it is email only, with no lead data and no AI copy or replies.

Sequence logic also goes further: lemlist lists conditioned next steps, manual steps, custom text and image personalisation with Liquid syntax, shared campaigns, task management and custom reporting. EmailPal’s sequences are linear steps with up to six variants each, delays and per-campaign schedules; there is no branching.

03

CRM and the sending stack

lemlist does not list a built-in CRM. Its plans list CRM integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, an option to use lemlist from your CRM, and AI CRM auto-fill, which suits teams that already live in a CRM. EmailPal’s CRM is its own, tied to the sequencer: replies set a lead status, a positive reply opens a pipeline card, and tasks, lists and campaign reports sit in the same account. It does not connect natively to HubSpot or Salesforce.

On infrastructure, lemlist lists Google, Microsoft and SMTP mailboxes, rotating IPs, a custom tracking domain, deliverability testing, a smart sending algorithm, inbox rotation and alerts. EmailPal’s sequencer sends from mailboxes it hosts and measures: each mailbox shows its warming status and held or suspended ones are skipped, a launch runs a pre-flight check, and a campaign pauses automatically when its bounce rate passes your threshold (5% by default). Open tracking is not offered; click tracking uses your own tracking domain.

04

Where EmailPal is behind

EmailPal is email only: no LinkedIn, calls, SMS or WhatsApp. It has no lead database, email finder or intent signals, no AI features, no branching, no native HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zapier or Make connectors, no browser extension and no OAuth sign-in to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes. The sequencer and CRM launched on 5 October 2026 and have no track record.

lemlist also ships Lemwarm, a separate warmup product, which our Lemwarm comparison covers on its own; this page is about lemlist as a sequencer.

Where lemlist is ahead

These are real advantages, and for some teams they decide it. Competitor details are quoted from their public pages on the date shown under the table.

  • True multichannel outbound: email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and a WhatsApp add-on in one sequence. EmailPal is email only.
  • A 650M+ lead database with email and phone finders and intent signals, sold on credits. EmailPal has no lead data.
  • AI agents for research, enrichment and replies, with reply intent and out-of-office detection.
  • Richer sequence logic: conditioned next steps, manual steps, custom text and image personalisation, shared campaigns and task management.
  • Integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay, plus a browser extension and an API, CLI and MCP server.
  • Maturity: it says 20,000+ teams use it and lists a 4.6/5 rating on G2 from 2,240+ reviews.
The honest split

Where each one stands

Where EmailPal wins

  • Mailboxes, warming that graduates on measured placement, pre-warmed inboxes and a sequencer in one account at one published price
  • A built-in CRM tied to the sequencer: replies set lead status, positive replies open a pipeline card
  • A sequencer that reads mailbox health: warming status is shown, held mailboxes are skipped, and campaigns pause automatically when the bounce rate passes your threshold
  • Open tracking off by design, with click tracking on your own domain
  • Mailbox pricing published on the page: $1 per extra mailbox, $0.60 warming, $3 pre-warmed

Trade-offs of lemlist

  • The Multichannel plan is priced per user, so cost grows with headcount
  • Lead data and intent signals are credit and signal add-ons on top of the plan
  • We did not find a mailbox price on the pricing page, so full sending cost needs a quote or the in-app price
  • Plans bundle many features; a team that only needs email sequencing pays for a larger product
  • No built-in CRM is listed; teams without a separate CRM have to buy one and connect it

The verdict

EmailPal vs lemlist: which should you choose?

lemlist is the better choice for teams running multichannel outbound, buying lead data, using AI to research and write, or syncing results to HubSpot or Salesforce. It does far more than EmailPal and has a track record EmailPal lacks.

EmailPal is the better fit if cold email is your only channel and you want the sending infrastructure, the safeguards and the pipeline in one account at a published per-mailbox price. It is young, email only and honest about the gaps above.

If you already like lemlist’s sequencing, you can still use EmailPal for mailboxes, warming and verification: its mailboxes are standard SMTP and IMAP and lemlist lists SMTP among supported senders. Confirm the setup on your lemlist plan before moving volume.

Ongoing warming

included

on every leased inbox

Warming and placement checks continue after you claim the inbox, so its inbox rate stays up to date.

Add-ons are the same on every plan: extra mailboxes $1/month, warming $0.60 per inbox per month, dedicated IPs $20/month, and verification blocks of 500 instant checks a day at $9.95/month. Warming is priced per inbox rather than per mailbox we host, so connecting a Gmail, an Outlook or a mailbox on your own server costs the same $0.60 and gets the same treatment. Leased inboxes sit outside your plan allowance entirely — they are not counted as mailboxes and never billed for warming twice. Mailbox overage is capped at three times your plan allowance and then blocked rather than billed, because a surprise invoice is a worse outcome than a blocked request.

FAQ

EmailPal vs lemlist: common questions

Is EmailPal a lemlist alternative?

Only for email-only outbound. EmailPal includes a sequencer, unified inbox, CRM, mailboxes, warming and verification, but no LinkedIn, calling, SMS, lead database or AI features. lemlist covers all of those, and EmailPal’s sequencer has been live only since 5 October 2026.

How does lemlist pricing compare with EmailPal?

lemlist’s pricing page (checked 5 October 2026) lists an Email plan at $69/mo on monthly billing ($55 on yearly) with 50,000 emails, and a Multichannel plan at $109 per user per month ($87 yearly). EmailPal Starter is $69/mo with 50 mailboxes, a sequencer, unified inbox and CRM, and $1 per extra mailbox. The plans cover different things: lemlist includes a lead database and AI agents; EmailPal includes the mailboxes and warming.

Does lemlist have a CRM?

Not as a built-in product on its pricing page as of 5 October 2026. It lists integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, the option to use lemlist from your CRM, and AI CRM auto-fill. EmailPal has a built-in CRM with lead statuses, pipelines, tasks and reports, but it does not sync natively with external CRMs.

Does EmailPal have LinkedIn or SMS steps like lemlist?

No. EmailPal is email only. If your sequences need LinkedIn visits, calls, SMS or WhatsApp, lemlist’s Multichannel plan covers them and EmailPal does not.

Can I use EmailPal mailboxes with lemlist?

Probably. EmailPal mailboxes are standard SMTP and IMAP, and lemlist lists Google, Microsoft and SMTP among supported sending accounts. Confirm that your lemlist plan accepts custom SMTP accounts before moving volume.

What about Lemwarm?

Lemwarm is lemlist’s separate warmup product, and lemlist’s Email plan also lists email warm-up. See our EmailPal vs Lemwarm comparison for the standalone warmup tool; this page compares lemlist as a sequencer.
